What I can see?.
The genre of art is portraiture
I can see that the artist has used a plain black background and also has taken the phonograph up close , the artist has used man made things to cover the persons face the artist all so has created part of the face to be exposed why she might have done this is to create a sense of hiding your identity and who you really that no one else knows but you Justine Reyes has used man made things to disguise there identity and only showing there eyes.

Feeling&Mood.
This Photograph reminds me of a horror series I watch switch is called American Horror Story its based in American and its about bout a family and its history of mental states, it shows me what life is like when your not in a health state and how family's get ripped apart and lost, How this photograph makes me feel how a person can hide who they are when they cover their face with anything also how this photograph is interesting to me is how they this person uses man made materials to cover their faces. Why I picked this photograph is because its stood out to me making me think of how a person's life is when they can hide away who they are.
Composition.
The Composition has a round shape. The focal point of this photograph is the persons eyes I look here first because the flash from the cameras light reflects on the persons eyes switch creates a sense of mystery of were the person is and what there looking at. Next, I look at the whole face because it shows the parts of the body witch are exposed by the material showing that there is a human being.
Colour && Mood.
The main colours used in the piece are a plain black background and white, cream vail cover the persons face. The dominant colour is white because the light has brought out the white most also because the person has a vail covering his/her face that is also white. The colours give the mood of something is going to happen like someone or something is going to be taken from you.
Light && Tone.
The light is coming from the direction of the centre. I know this because the way the person took the photograph is from the centre and all the light is being absorb on the persons face in the middle. The highlighted areas are the persons eyes and the parts where it is covered they have been tonally shaded in very light tones to reflect the light. The dark tones have been used on the background also the eyes they have been used to give the photograph weight and depth. The light and tone adds a up beat mood to the work, I think this because the light make me thing about summer and how bright and full of light the season is.
Texture && Pattern.
The artist uses colour patterns on the face of the person with the fabric/vail covering his/her face. This adds interest to the piece and makes it look scary and mysterious. The artist uses different textures such as a dark more looking fabric and a light white ripped fabric. also the fabic gives a texture of it being life-like that you can just touch it on the image.
